Dianella caerulea ‘Variegata’

  • An attractive clumping perennial with a striking grey-green and white striped leaves. Produces delicate flowers on a fine stem followed by berries. Ideal to introduce a contrast with colour and form into a garden. Prefers a sunny to part shade positin in moist well drained soil. Gets to a height of 60cm. They are drought and frost tolerant once established.

Carex Feather Falls

  • Feather Falls is heat and frost tolerant evergreen grass. This clump forming compact grass is know for its graceful, cascading foliage. Its mature height is 30-45cm with a spread of 45-60cm. Perfect choice to add softness and movement in your garden.

Lirope

  • Liriope is an evergreen grass with strappy leaves and produces small upright flower spikes, either purple pink or white depending on variety. Great shade tolerant border grass for edging and pathways.

Lomandra Hystrix

  • Lomandra is a good all rounder especially for here on the coast. Grows to 1-1.5m tall and produces honey scented cream flower spikes in spring. Easy to divide and propagate. Grows in most conditions from wet clay to sand dunes and in full sun or part shade. There are dwarf varieties also available.

Tulbaghia Violacea (Society Garlic)

  • Evergreen perennial lily related to the garlic has blue-green strappy foliage and long stems of delicate lilac flowers during the warmer months. Great plant for borders and in rockeries. Leaves and flowers are edible and can replace chives and spring onions in salads. Grows in full sun to part shade up to 40cm high and 15-25cm wide.

Pennisetum (Purple Fountain Grass)

  • Beautiful large ornamental weeping grass with striking burgundy purple coloured foliage and soft feathery plumes throughout the year. Ideal plant to add colour texture and movement to your garden. Great plant for our coastal conditions. Grows to 1 to 1.5 metres high and 1m wide
