  • Searles Premium Potting Mix is a high-quality potting mix containing a refined blend of selected high-quality ingredients. Also contained in this mixture is a specific amount of real organic compost and humus, which acts as a storehouse of nutrients, having the ability to store nutrients on colloid surfaces, protected from leaching while still being available to the plant when the plant requires more.

    ‍This premium potting mix has excellent water retention properties while also allowing ideal drainage, providing the optimal growing conditions for your loved plants. Designed for excellent physical structure, maintaining a high capacity of water retention whilst also providing outstanding aeration, so important for plants grown in smaller containers and for the development of healthy feeder roots.

This mix contains a high percentage of Peat Moss, making it a light, fine textured blend with good water retention, while also providing excellent aeration for essential root growth. Ideal for use in seedling boxes or trays, or on top of the garden bed to save transplanting.

Azalea Camellia & Gardenia - Searles

  • Excellent acidic mix suited for Azaleas, Camellias, Gardenias, Daphne, Ericas, Rhododendrons, Philodendrons, Blueberries and other acid loving plants.

    ‍One of the most important aspects of acid loving plants is the availability of iron to the plant. Generally, iron is most available in acidic conditions, hence they are known as acid loving plants. Searles Azalea, Camellia & Gardenia Specialty Mix contains chelated iron, which is readily available to plants. This caters for many different scenarios such as, alkaline water applied to pot plants, and fertilisers applied after planting which may raise the pH after potting. In both situations, Searles Azalea, Camellia & Gardenia Specialty Mix boosts healthy growth from our advanced composting process and the included chelated iron which is readily available to the plant.

    The extra Premium Compost adds that necessary organic enrichment, nutrients and nutrient storage capacity, while peat moss and water crystals produce greater water and nutrient retention. Suitable for vegetable and flower gardens, shrub and tree planting, building new gardens, adding to existing garden beds, herb growing, top dressing lawns and laying turf. Either plant straight into this mix or mix with existing soil in garden beds. Water well immediately after application.

    This product is designed as a garden soil planting mix for use in garden beds and raised beds. This product is not recommended for use in pots and containers.

Premium Garden Soil - Searles

  • Searles Premium Garden Soil assists plant growth and makes gardening easier and more successful in many ways. During its special composting processes, humus and humic colloids are formed, as well as humic acids and humins, which all combine to increase plant health.
